I absolutely loved this book. It had its sweet moments, sexy moments, funny moments, heartbreaking moments, scream madly at the characters for them being unbelievably dumbs moments. This book was full of book loving moments that all romance readers love.
I think this whole idea about fictional boyfriends happens quite a lot now-a-days. Parents want their daughters to find a man and get married; old traditions are hard to stop, but I don't think any woman would be as lucky as Kayla to find "the one" in an airport.
But at first they're strangers; Kayla's nervous of flying and Cooper's sitting there wanting to soothe her nerves by doing anything he can to make the flight with her. And I mean he did anything and everything to make this possible. If you don't find that to be love, then boy I don't know what is. But once they make their way through the flight, their connection-I mean attraction spills out and covers every inch of them. So in this attraction-filled haze they decide, why not have Cooper come to the wedding with Kayla, pretending to be the fictional boyfriend she told her parents about, sounds like a great idea? Crazy, but actually it just sounds crazy to me, but it could work out...
So they agree, spend the weekend convincing Kayla's family that Cooper is her fictional boyfriend and that they're in love, while away from the hoards of family members they have their fun in the bedroom.
This is a wonderful novel by Diane Alberts, one that should be added to your to-read shelves. Its a book about finding love in the weirdest of places and believing that there is "the one" out there waiting for you even if love has kicked you in the gut in the past.
