Book Blurb:

For four years, Grace Sullivan wrote to a Marine she never met, and fell in love. But when his deployment ended, so did the letters. Ever since that day, Grace has been coasting, academically and emotionally. The one thing she’s decided? No way is Noah Jackson — or any man — ever going to break her heart again.

Noah has always known exactly what he wants out of life. Success. Stability. Control. That’s why he joined the Marines and that’s why he’s fighting his way — literally — through college. Now that he’s got the rest of his life on track, he has one last conquest: Grace Sullivan. But since he was the one who stopped writing, he knows that winning her back will be his biggest battle yet.

Review:

5 Stars!

This is the definition of dedication. Noah might have stopped writing to Grace, but he never stopped loving her. He just had to get his life in order before he could go to her and that was a mistake in Grace's eyes and probably all girls in the world. But Noah went to Grace; traveled across country just to attend the same college as Grace, to be able to make amends with Grace. He gave up his life in California to bring her back into his and his dedication to get her never ceased throughout the whole book. I love how he never gave up on her, no matter the obstacles she threw at him.

When I read this book, I felt like relationships like Grace and Noah's happen more than anyone knows. A woman or a man begins writing to a person in the army and they fall in love even without meeting. It's a truly romantic fairy tale, or at least it is in my eyes.

This book and the other two Woodlands books are a great series and definitely worth the money and the time to invest reading them. Everyone should read this series, you don't even have to read them in order! So go now, buy them and read them over and over and over!
